Does anything pre-dating XP really still need the tutorial?

Oh yes, now I'll know how to get the most out of Windows 3.1 computers, which I encounter on a regular basis. [/sarcasm]
Is this going to be a YouTube series? If not, how will you do it?

It will be in various formats (mpg, mov, mp4), and sometimes, people will upload my videos to YouTube.

So they will be videos? Cool! I look forward to watching them. Do you have access to all of these operating systems though?

Yea. We have a really old laptop that has a floppy drive, but I doubt many people do. If you do have the floppy, I guess you could redownload the file from a torrent. That would be legal.

Not really. When you buy an operating system or a game or something, you have bought a license to THAT copy and only that copy. You don't have the license to the torrented download.

Yep, this is true. It may be morally right to many people, but it legally won't hold up.

Really? Well, with most software, you're more like buying the Licence Key. That's why many PCs come preinstalled with an unactivated version of Office. You can activate it with a Licence Key.

Yeah, that is true for many types of software, but I definitely wouldn't say most. But you can't pirate it if it's not like that, though.

I don't pirate anymore anyways

Aaanyways, I would recommend you to only do seriously old LINUX operating systems that you can get easily and legally, and not old Windows operating systems, because even if you got them, would you even be able to put the floppy disk into your computer? But if your school has those old macs with the colours and the handles, ask if you can borrow one of those for an old mac OS. But otherwise, try doing new operating systems.

Please look up things!
That has nothing to do with the current conversation.
