I just want to know if it's possible. But since scratch doesnt have "Tone" blocks or "Frequency" blocks, we can use the "Loudness" block.
Something like this:
Maybe it's possible? I know that there can be interference (microphone noise, etc.) but is it possible?
I got this idea from thinking about morse code, BTW.
I'll start testing it out with my sound card. (Sending speaker sounds instead of mic sounds, so scratch will recognize it without any noise)
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Move if required.

Thanks, But it's just a concept, or an idea.

I once tried to do communication by colors, like modular robotics. I think I tried this before, but it was a long time ago and it failed.
PS. Scratch should really have tone and frequency. (self-learning voice recognition anyone?)

I agree with "tone" and "frequency" blocks...but i'm not so sure with self-learning voice recognition......It's gonna be a bit creepy o.O Soon i'll be talking to my computer xD

Later, you will decide to connect it to a Sensor board and Lego Wedo. Then, you randomly make a spaceship (maybe a model?), with a section for EVA. Then...
"Open the pod bay doors HAL."
"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
<l<o<l<?>>>>The voice recognition shouldn't be creepy though. Think of it as another human

On-topic: Support.
[Wait, that example at the top reminds me, I need to suggest voice synthesis or whatever.]
o.O I already made a spaceship model out of lego.......I don't have a WeDo board though, i DO have a Sensor board.
.....NAO FOR DA HAL VOICE >= D

bump? Is this possible? If so, we ca make multiplayer games with 2 computers that dont need internet! (But data will possible become corrupted if theres noise)
