So, i'm planning to make a full-blown RPG(yes, a kid has plenty of time on his hands )
anyhow, i got some questions(as the title says)
1.what is the upload limit?
2.can we use ANY resources from the net(i'm still confused about the legal stuff, e.g are you allowed to use youtube music etc?)
3.How do you make a scrolling script like the ones in pokemon(well i meant like a explanation on how to do it, not just "place block here...here..." etc would be very helpful thanks(yes, i'm not so pro afterall ) explanation on drop n' drag would be nice too.
4.some extra information on like the difference between forever if and forever then if would be nice too.
Thanks a lot guys(please don't harass me for not knowing how to use the search button properly)

1. 10 mb
2. People do...but it's best if you give credit, use creative commons, or make your own.
3. You're going to need at least 2 variables: scroll x and scroll y...it's a long story, but I'm sure you can find plenty of examples on the site.
4. There's no significant difference, except a forever and then an if allows for multiple if's in the forever.
Darn...I got beat to it

thanks guys, great to see how active the scratch community is
This probably means my game'll have to come out in like 2-4 parts or something -_-

Quick and to the point, I like it
1. 10MB
2. I'd steer clear of Copyrighted Songs, just incase. If you go to newgrounds.com, there are some excellent songs, some of which are copyright free. If they require permission, they may ask you to give credit in the project description or you may have to personally check with the artist. It is, after all, their material.
3. Here is a fantastic example by Wes64, a simple tutorial of this can be found here too, but you'll need to adapt it so it doesn't include gravity etc, basically have a mess around and take ideas
4. There is no difference as far as i know between the forever if block and forever with an if statement inside, though more if statements can be inserted inside a forever loop, whereas forever if only has one if statement attached. Personally, I only ever use forever and if separately because I don't know a difference between them and more if statements (and if else's) can be added later
Just ask any more questions here and I'll try and help out
Good luck with the project!

No, actually, wes64, a famous scratcher, has made a RPG under 10MB. he had no music, though.
