From what I understood, the side scroller will be like galaga where you shoot down enemies. I just made a side scroller thing where you can have the x positions go off the normal 240 limit and can go up to any number you want. That way you would be able to put in a portal at the end. I think that's what you need. If that is what you need then I'll upload it.

I believe this is it:

You, in your spaceship, is a top down scroller.  You, on a planet, are a platforming style side scroller.

I have no idea what it's supposed to show, but you can get rid of flashing by making the code without repeats. Also I updated it to be infinite

I got that, but it's only a bunch of stamps moving along the screen, not scrolling

But all of you were saying all different things. The stamps are able to appear to scroll. I can make it with a press of a button you move right, and another button left, etc... I just need to know if that's the way that it's going to be because the conversations been going a lot like this:

Ok, so how about we have this: There are planets, to get to the next planet you have to complete the tasks on the current planet, or defeat lots of things in space. To complete a sector you have to do both, but to access the next you only need to do one.
