Hello guys,
I was successful to build the Scratch.app for iOS and to transfer the app to my son's iPad2. I subscribed Apple Developer's Program and obtained the required files such as certificate. That's all legal.
Thank you very much for your all kindness!
Well, one last step remains. The app on iPad2 works just as a viewer for now and I cannot edit the script on the scratch editor screen. What I can do for now is that to open the default project ("defaultProjectName" = "iPhoneGardenSecret"
and open the public project on your website. I can see the scratch editor screen for just a moment, but I could not touch it.
How can I modify the source to activate the edit screen on iPad2?
Best regards,

Hey, I know i am trying to ressurect an old post, but... I NEED the IPA for this. I am kinda new to scratch, but have a jailbroken iphone, and installous. Can someone PLEASE tell me either how to get it from installous (because i cant find the app, what is the file named?) or give me a good link to the ipa, because the others are either broken, deleted, or the code, not the ipa. I am using a windows, and no way paying to compile an ipa

Here is the IPA file... already uploaded from a couple of days ago lol. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/37687009/Scratc … _above.ipa
The way I installed it was to go on my iPod and download the IPA file in Safari and open it in USB Stick app, then in iFile (from the repo.insanelyi.com repository), I moved the IPA file from the USB Stick app to the Installous downloads folder. After that, I finally went into Installous and installed Scratch!
And don't ask me how to SSH because I have no idea how to!

Best regards,
You could probably edit the scratch.image file in the source code but allowing the script editor would probably crash more than it already does.

Oh, boy. To start, google your question. Once you are jailbroken, post back.

Mega bump for an awesome thread!
I rejailbroke the 'Pod and it's not working.
iPod touch 4G
iOS 5.1.1
Absinthe 2.0 Untethered
I get the error ""Scratch" Could not be installed."

What are you using to install it? I suggest you download a program on your computer called "iFunbox" (You need iTunes installed or it will not detect your iPod), plug your iPod into the computer and start iFunbox. You can then install the .ipa file there. You also need to be connected to a WiFi network to login to your Scratch account.

Shouldn't you just make the app a Scratch website viewer? (with working projects)
