This topic is being made for a couple of reasons but the main one is very few people were able to finish their projects. There are two options from this point that will be decided by those who have entered projects:
1) The competition continues and those who have entered get judged (I think it's 3 people out of 20 who entered).
2) The competition gets redone at a different time with a different theme and all those who were able to enter the first Challenge successfully will get honorable mentions in the notes of Cube 3 regardless of the results of the second competition.
If option 2 is chosen, we will work out a date that works for the most amount of people.
Thanks, and Scratch On!

I say option 2... I coundn't really think of a good idea for mine. I say maybe choose a theme like the SDS guys do that is more broad.

I would pick option 2, even though I was one of the people who finished. To be honest, I really don't think that a 3-day contest is a good idea. Everyone has their own schedule, and a 3 day period just might not be good enough for those who have to go on vacations or to camps or wherever they have to go to. Also, I'm not sure if I want to enter the next contest. I spent much of my free time working on my entry, and I'm content with getting an honorable mention.

Alright, sounds like we're going to be moving the date...and here's an idea: There's a 2 week period in which you can select 3 days to work. That allows for planning to take place in a maximum of 11 days and actual game making can be done almost all at once.

I think your theme was too challenging for some Scratchers. Scratch Dare 2 had a lot of people drop out cause they said it was too hard.

Yeah...originally it was just going to be pirates...but I'm not sure if it made it easier or harder adding a few more options.
I'll try to think of a less-specific theme.

Well, I can't enter if it is not after july. And maybe 5 days, 3 days is pretty short.

I think a less specific theme would be better.

I like option 2. Also could you make it end of July/beginning of august. I would really like to do the next one! (I am leaving on a 3 week trip!)
Scratch on!

I agree. You could make a less-specific theme and also make the deadline like the scratch dare.

Well the point of this is to make a project in three days and do your best. So I don't think it would be 2 weeks long.
