Post a post here telling me which game of yours you want me to review. Include a link.
I only review games, so no animations, simulations, music, etc.
I probably won't notify you when your review is complete, so be sure to check back here often.
If you update a game and want it reviewed again, post another post telling me to. In the second review, I will note how things have changed since the first review. (i.e. (+10), (-2) )
ErnieParke made a complete scoreboard!
Grading Rubric
The following is my rubric, and a general outline of how I will grade a project. I'm going to be kind of strict so it actually is meaningful and rare to get 100/100.
Scripting
30 - Awesome scripting and no bugs.
20 - Some bugs, some good scripting.
10 - A lot of bugs that interfere with gameplay.
0 - I could not play the game.
Graphics
30 - Amazing graphics that a lot of effort was spent on.
20 - Good graphics.
10 - OK graphics.
0 - I cannot tell what anything is supposed to be.
Gameplay
30 - I could not stop playing it, it is easy to play, the controls are smooth.
20 - Its good, somewhat hard to understand.
10 - I got a little bored, I sort of understand what's going on.
0 - I got bored right away, I don't know what to do, the controls are awkward.
Concept
10 - I have never seen a game like this before.
5 - Ive played a lot of games like this before.
0 - Did you copy?
Sound
5 - The sound was awesome and creative.
0 - There was no sound.
-5 - The sound was horrendous and I had to mute.
Attitude
5 - You are humble and nice, say thank you to almost every comment.
0 - I can't tell, you don't post comments.
-5 - You spam and solicit for Love-its.Note:
When I grade your attitide, I use this format. Attitide - 5 That is a hyphen, not a negative sign. If I gave negative attitude it would look like this Attitide - -5Total /100
It is possible to get 110/100 or -10/100.
Scoring
Amazing: >90
Awesome: 80-89
Great: 70-79

Abstract by northmeister - 74/100
Scripting - 23/30
Although it is bug-free, I dislike how the player and walls interact. It seems sticky.
Graphics - 15/30
The colors are vibrant. Unfortunately there isn't much detail (it uses block colors) and the Level display is too large and obscures a good portion of the map.
Gameplay - 20/30
The gameplay is fun but there isn't really anything that draws me in and addicts me. It is also very straightforward. Some power-ups would be nice. Also the one-hit deaths start to annoy.
Concept 9/10
Sound - 2
There is a pretty nice song in the background but no other sound effects exist.
Attitude - 5

I know, I found the wall detection hard as it's the maze sprite that moves, and not the player, and it would have to interact differently depending on how the player touches the wall.
I tried to make the graphics really simple, yet abstract-ish, some people like it more than others Although, I agree I could have used colours other than the block colours.
Hmm... there are sound effects, when you go to the next level and when you touch the red acid, did it not work when you played it?
Anyway, thanks for the review!

can you review the 2 games in my signature pleaase I would be very grateful the space adventures one you have to download in order to play, because it is too slow on the internet

Lol...I like how you can get over 100 and less than 0...I guess you have to be pretty spectacular or pretty horrible to get either of those though.

Hey Wes, can you review this http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/zubblewu/2530775? I know it's two months old, but whatever . I'd really appreciate it if you got it done fast, because I won't have acces to anything for a week (I'll be at camp), so I don't have much time left...

Space Adventures by marcin388 - 45/100
Scripting - 18/30
Although there were no major flaws, the scripts are messy beyond belief.
Graphics - 12/30
The graphics are only OK. There is no real detail and some are messily drawn or edited.
Gameplay - 7/30
There are far too many controls to remember. Upon starting the game I got game over after 1 second. Once I got used to it, the controls were still choppy and the gameplay was boring.
Concept 5/10
Not really special in any way.
Sound - 3
Lacks music.

UNDERWATER ADVENTURES! by marcin388 - 62/100
Scripting - 22/30
No bugs, the scripts seem to run smoothly, but i dislike how you dont restart on the same level.
Graphics - 15/30
Not very detailed, solid block colors.
Gameplay - 15/30
Its ok, but a bit boring. I don't like how the fish moves, and how you control speed with w/s. Level 2 is way too hard.
Concept 7/10
Pretty unique.

Rotator Alpha V 1.1 by zubblewu - 72/100
Scripting - 25/30
Scripting is well done, although sometimes the color sensing goes a bit out of wack.
Graphics - 18/30
Used only solid colors, not really detailed. level design was decent.
Gameplay - 20/30
The gameplay was good, but there wasn't enough of it, and that's why I am grading this down. If you had twice the amount of levels, I would have given you 25.
Concept 6/10
I have seen a lot of planet-gravity games, and this one isn't exactly outstanding. Well done, but not VERY well done.
Sound - 0
Exempt

Thank you. And it was two months ago, though I may improve it soon, and edit the scripting, graphics, etc.

What's with all the negative attitudes?
You don't ask to be reviewed to get showered with praise -- you ask to be reviewed so you can find out what to do better. Nothing is perfect Like I said, I'm going to be kind of strict so it actually is meaningful and rare to get 100/100.

portal race (tributo a portal) by katzisc - 75/100
Scripting - 24/30
It works pretty well! I didn't find any glitches.
Graphics - 20/30
The car and health graphics are nice. The portal, missile, and shooting sprites are not as detailed, and they look weird next to the very detailed things.
Gameplay - 16/30
The game is pretty fun, but its also confusing. With all the portals, missiles and cars and explosions, it gets very confusing and convoluted.
Concept 8/10
An interesting blend of Portal, shooting, and cars.
Sound - 4
Well done sound.

No bugs but its also VERY simple.
Graphics - 18/30
The graphics are decent, but nothing outstanding.
Gameplay - 15/30
The gameplay works but again nothing outstanding. Its just kinda bland.
Concept 4/10
Ive played a lot of shooting games and this one isn't outstanding among them.

pixel 2 preview 3 by ftf841 - 75/100
Scripting - 22/30
The game works pretty well. The physics, however, need work. The jumping feels unnatural and is not smooth.
Graphics - 23/30
The level graphics and title menu look great. But the cubes for the player and enemy are pretty basic, and the help screen is just black text on a blue background.
Gameplay - 22/30
Its pretty fun, the health meter is a good idea. However the jumping, while also a scripting problem, interferes with my enjoyment of the game.
Concept 5/10
Its a platformer, Ive played too many of these to count. If you want 10/10 for a platforming game, you REALLY have to blow me away.
Sound - 3
I like the background music A LOT. But it needs more sound effects.

Bit OS 1.0 by ftf841 - 44/100
Note that this is an OS, not a game. This rubric was for games and it doesn't exactly apply to your OS. The paint programs work well, but I don't consider them games, which is why you lost a lot of points.
Scripting - 18/30
This is pretty basic. The paint programs work well, but what takes you down is the Pong game. It is glitchy beyond belief, and easily fixed too. Im taking off a lot for that. Also the variables shown in the "options" menu don't change.
Graphics - 15/30
There really isn't much to grade you on here. The options on the menu are un-readable because you colored the text blue. All the game's data is displayed through variable windows, which are ugly.
Gameplay - 5/30
Since this is an OS, and you knowingly asked a GAME reviewer to review it, i'm not going to hold back. The only "game" aspect of this was the pong game, and it was awful. The paint programs work well, but those aren't games. Sorry.
Concept 5/10
It doesn't do anything special. Ive seen many, many OS games and this is not outstanding amongst them.
Sound - 1
There was only 2 sounds.

Penguin attack! by zubblewu - 58/100
Scripting - 22/30
Gee, its very basic. You didn't exactly script anything outstanding. It works though. I bumped you up to 22 from 20 because you used a stamping score mechanism.
Graphics - 15/30
Everything seems too big. Again, nothing too special here.
Gameplay - 10/30
Its pretty boring. All you do is jump, jump, jump. And sometimes throw staplers. I feel bad because you have a really original concept here, its pretty random. Its just that your execution of that concept is sub-par. I know you can do better.
Concept 7/10
Wow, this is pretty random. But the way it works makes it seem just like any other game. The idea of an office worker throwing staplers at carniverous penguins is gold, but you just did it in a very ordinary way.
Sound - 1
Sound exists, but its just the built-in sounds from Scratch.
Attitude - 3

Yes, I can definitely do better . This was totally developed in 2-4 hours though, so I did what I could
In that time. And I would have made more efficient scripting if I had time, but I didnt. The graphics were actually in most things a square in the editor (4 pixels) each. Just thought id put it out there to see what you thought.
