Online Problem: You can't "Broadcast Variable" online.

nor can u "change to variable costume".

this shud be fixed. my new game i've spent ages on uses this a bit now i'll hav to go through the game and manually do it all.

oh well.

I have broadcast used in my project Squeeze Maze and it works online, can you post your code and maybe someone can figure out why

Hmmm.  I use that feature all the time and it works for me....maybe you have something unique in the message names you are broadcasting...are they all numbers or start with numbers?

Very sure.  Take a look at my Tag Your Favorites project...it uses Broadcast on a variable to page you through the tags.

Ok, I figured out the mystery! When you broadcast a variable, you broadcast WHATEVER the variable is, whether it's a word or number, it'll broadcast that. Note that you can't receive a variable. I made a tutorial, too.   http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Childofderkness16/553861

PS: It works online, because you're simplifying the script.
