What if a Scratcher's username is inappropriate?
There's a username blacklist on Wikipedia. Is there one on the Scratch Website? If yes, give the link.

If they have a project, just flag a project with something like "This user has an inappropriate username". If they don't have a project, you can contact the Scratch Team about it directly by going to this page.

Just e-mail them. But in a whole year, ive never seen anybody with an inappropriate username, so the existing filter must be pretty good.

I think they once said there is a filter.
Can you give the link to this blacklist, please?

I don't know where the list is, I just remember someone on the ST saying they have a filter.

If you don't know the link, then who does?

I think that the list is in the code somewhere, so I think only the Scratch Team knows.

The list is in ScratchR, but I'm not telling you where, so you're not tempted.

What do you want it for?
Also I dont think a big list of blacklisted usernames would be appropriate for the forums... They're blacklisted for a reason.

Am I allowed to say "There are some today, like the inverse MD5 hash of 09ff498bc7c91f785c0f8d617887477a?"

Really? I just ran a search on the directory (I searched a certain bad word that I know is filtered), and nothing came up that looked like a censoring list.

Yeah, but nobody will understand you. You're better off just saying "There are some today." and not giving any example whatsoever.

I there might be commas or something, dunno. But I have the lists from the repo.

The point is for it to be confusing Anyway, I didn't see any today. Better?

if the username is inappropriate, the account gets blocked with a message saying to choose a more appropriate username.
I'm not aware of any blacklist (and I'm on the ST!), but if there is one, it shouldn't be given (be aware that giving links to inappropriate content is frowned upon around here).
