What do you people think of these as new feature ideas for Scratch?
- Be able to customize the game loading screen.
- Be able to have a block that can detect if the game player's computer is a PC, Linux, or Mac, Be able to detect web browser.
- In the game comments section, make it so people can reply to comments
- HTML in comments!
- Be able to view Scratch games in full screen (on the website)
- Allow people to download Scratch games as EXEs (PC) or DMGs (Mac), or deb and rpm (Linux)
What do you people think?

I like the "reply to comment" feature. I think only certain HTML elements should be allowed in comments but not all because people could mess up the layout of the page or embed images that are inappropriate. What HTML elements would be good to allow?

Smilies aren't HTML
Downloading Scratch programs into executable files defeats the whole purpose of being able to download a project, namely the open source-ness and being able to mod the projects. Web browser detection and OS detection would probably be hard to do, because then you would have to get Scratch to be able to contact the OS or the user agent thing.
Customizing the loading screen would just make it load slower, but that's a good idea. I also agree with comment replying and fullscreen. Also, I request that you be able to put images in your signature in your forum.

S65:
On the other hand you can share projects with big file sizes with people who don't have Scratch if you can make it into a standalone executable.
And while we are on the subject, a stand alone scratchproject viewer would be nice. Where you can look at/play your project without the editor hogging recources.

As I understand it the entire point of being able to download a file is to learn how to do x feature or y feature in Scratch, which is useless if you don't have Scratch. So downloading a file is basically useless if you don't have Scratch anyway.
And yeah, a standalone viewer would be nice but would probably be a lot of work.
Vanslar: You can, look in the FAQ section.

Replying to comments and viewing in full screen... Already possible.
Presumably they weren't at the time this was posted (2007).

Don't post on old topics please.
What's wrong with that?

it's called necroposting.
necroposting = bad
I thought it wasn't necropsying if you post it on a post and it's ontopic, btw some of the stuff is not on Scratch like modifying the loading screen.

Yes, but the customizable loading screen thing has been suggested on a 2010 topic. (I know because when I was a n00b I necroposted on it lol) It would be better to necropost there rather than something from 2007.

For HTML in comments, I think that basic stuff like bold, italic, underline, text colour, and hyperlinks would be good. Oh, and smilies!
We do not have this feature. Some people still want this feature. Therefore this topic is still relevant (and since necroposting applies only to irrelevant topics, we cannot count this as necroposted).
Still valid discussion to be had here.
