Too lazy to ding! ding!

I want to use the play note block in one of my scratch projects. I click on the note block and it doesn't play. Huh? My speakers work, and the block worked before in the same program. Please help!

when [space v] key pressed
play note (60) for (0.5) beats
play drum (48) for (0.2) beats
the blocks above are epic fails! // True, true. I certainly agree.

Make sure Windows' MIDI Synthesizer is on. Try playing another MIDI file.

Re: Too lazy to ding! ding!

Try testing if your MIDI Synthesizer works: MIDI Synthesizer Tester

You should hear piano music, Then a Pop! If you only hear the Pop! That means theres a problem with you computers MIDI Synthesizer.

The project says it works, but in the scratch program... nope

Re: Too lazy to ding! ding!

Try playing another MIDI file, If it works, Then its a problem with Scratch. Try right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting "Run as Administrator" if that doesnt work, try uninstalling scratch, Then run the installer by right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator" Then see if it works. If it doesn't, I have no idea whats going on D:

Re: Too lazy to ding! ding!

If Scratch stays open for too long, the Squeak parser gets "tired".

Scrolling doesn't work for me, and a stupid screen pops up every time I open scratch.

That's irrelevant...
