Well, uhh, hello.
Why hello there. I'm new to this place and hope to start programming in it soon.
I do have one question though, what does 'scratch' mean? And why did they choose it as the name?
A little about myself (even though you probably don't care): I like to program/script in some web languages such as PHP, Javascript, and CSS. I would like to learn more application based things, but haven't yet.
So yeah, leave a comment/post thingy below. =P

i don't know why they call it scratch bit i think its because you make games in it from scratch. also i think the cat was the logo cuz cats scratch
