What file format does music and sound have to be to play in scratch???

What file format does music and sound have to be to play in scratch??? I tried .mp3, but that didn't work, I also tried .wav but that didn't work either... Please tell me! I have to know in less than an hour!  yikes

Its always .wav, have you been converting the files correctly? Use this.

I think .aiff also works.

I want to put my little scratch file into movie maker but it does no support sb files and I do not see how to convert it.

Sorry, NanaDavis, but Scratch and movie formats are completely different. One of the major problems is that Scratch gathers user input and other interactive input, which movie formats can't support.

Try making a screen recording of you using your project and then using it, instead.
