Internet censorship is a startling issue. Because you merely present your opinion or dissent, you are censored. Your opinion is rendered meaningless. You are nothing to the Man. The reason I am posting this is because my bigfoot research topic was shut down by the Man. Who is the Man? He is the authority, the oppressor, the evil. We the People must stand up. We deserve to be free! Our opinions must not be censored. This is not an issue of the rejection of my research. I accept criticism and criticism must also be protected. This is a plea to freedom. As Thomas Jefferson put so eloquently, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." But everyday these rights are being tossed away, the notion of freedom ignored. But the beacon of freedom will never be put out! As long as there are people who hope for a better future, the light of liberty will continue to shine! There is nothing anyone can do to oppress us. I stand for a better future. That is my dream- for all people to be free. This injustice that against me is small, but it does not matter against who or why or how large or small. It is that my freedom was oppressed. I will not stand for this. If you want a better future then stand with me!

I dont think the Scratch forums are the proper place to start a revolution. I don't know if you're trolling or not, but this is just weird. I dont believe in censorship either, but this just isn't the right place to discuss it.

Your project was removed? Well then it isn't "censorship", it is removal of hazardous things from the site. If it goes against the community guidelines, it gets removed.

The topic about bigfoot you posted wasn't shut down by "The Man" it was shut down by me. Not because I wish to censor you or keep your views from the world at large but because the place you chose to share those views wasn't the right one (here).

I completely agree with you that the internet should be a place where everyone can say what they wish - that's very important and so many government legislations recently have been trying to take this freedom from us.

However, I also like order, I like to see things in the right place, and myself and the rest of the moderation team here agree that this sort of discussion isn't in the right place when brought up in the Scratch forums. It has nothing to do with Scratch, making or creating.

The same goes for this topic - it's just doesn't fit the forum type and so I am going to close this.
