Scratch

So basically I was doing a full AVG PCTuneup on both my laptop and PC, then optimizing and deleting rubbish for a total of about 6hrs! I then thought about syncing, dropbox and my schools network and I thought, why not try for the 4th time of doing it?

The thing I was doing wrong the other 3 times that I used HOMEGROUP, that was wrong as I have an XP and a Win7. I read a post on WORKGROUPS, which is supported in nearly all windows OS's. I set it up, blah blah. It failed ultimately. I couldnt connect. But then I realised that the computers workgroup name reverted back to WORKGROUP even though I DID set it to the laptops. So I fixed it, and it worked!

It's so much better than dropbox (for a home network, that is)! For starters it is SOOO fast. I wrote a lengthly word document, it arrived on the PC in less than 1 second. Even dropbox can't beat that!

I also made my Win7 look like an XP because I am sick of aero, simplicity is good!
