It was archived due to its constant moderation needs and problems. You can still view it's archived form here.

There was a lot of drama and spam going on, but to make it easier to explain, let's just say it was hard for the moderators and scratch team to clean it up, so they archived the forum and moved the topics (Probably not all of them, knowing there were a lot of topics in misc.) that fit into the new forums (I.e the Minecraft Official Topic.)
