I just got a cool idea for a website. I call it, ScratchPix. It's a place where Scratchers can share art and such they have made, and upload it to the website. Though, as a beginner graphics artist and a noob programmer (I'm the complete opposite of my username. tongue ), I'll need to have some people who could help the website happen.
If you so feel like taking your time to volunteer to make the website alive, it'd be great. Weather it'd be sending suggestions, coding the website, or making the graphics, all of that will help.

If you'd like to volunteer, it's really easy. All you need to do is reply below, saying what you would like to help with, and why. (Saying why is optional.) Here's the list of contributors:

Sounds like a cool idea, but I don't have a whole bunch of free time to work on this. sad I might end up making a logo, but it's unlikely.

What's the theme and what are the main colors? Like will it be kinda stitched together, or will it look really fancy, or be all green with cameras decorating the site?

Well, I plan for the ScratchPix logo to look sorta like the Scratch logo, knowing it's a website where Scratchers can share and upload art.

It will look like the Scratch logo, except with "Pix" at the end and instead of an orange scheme it's green.
The main colors are the same as this website, except green instead of blue, and white.

Well, with an image file, you can have it any size and quality whereas with Scratch you're kinda limited.

I can help with the web site coding. I'm just learning PHP but I already have done some impressive stuff with it. I've already made a login system (using a tutorial) and a blog (modifying the login code) so I can help on that. smile Do you have a site design yet, or could you kind of describe what you're thinking about it looking like?

Alright, you can help stevetheipad, as he's working on the logo (I think) right now, if he is unable to do it, you can work on it. I already described the logo to Steve, shouldn't be hard to find. tongue

Well, it's going to have the Scratch styled scheme, with the home, projects, etc.
Except it's going to be a more greenish scheme, and the buttons at the top will have obviously home, and a few other links like "Upload", "galleries", "about us", "forums", and "my profile".

You can't just use the Scratch logo for your own website. I suggest using the word Scratch but not the logo, is that okay?

Well, I'm not talking an exact copy of it.
Use a different font and such, but it will have the gradient of orange and the lighter orange, except with a green.
