scratchthumbs.db...???

What are The "scratchthumbs.db" documents that keep appearing whenever i use Scratch. The curious part is that they seem to appear in a different folder or on my desktop each time...?

Re: scratchthumbs.db...???

When you want to import an image, scratch gives you a list of the sprites with thumbnails above them so you know what image you're selecting. But they take a long time to write, so scratch saves scratchthumbs.db in any place you've looked for an image so that the thumbnails don't take so long to update. When you look in that location again, scratch uses what's in that file to show the thumbnails that were there the last time, and updates it again. If you delete that file, it takes longer to update them the next time.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
