Wii all the way. I don't give a flying * about graphics, accessibility is what matters when it comes down to business. And Nintendo makes some of the most famous games of all time that AREN'T shooters. I'm also sick of things like Crash Bandicoot... he's really just a knock-off. (Sonic is exempt, his games are good and he's also been around for a while)

I'll put more of an explanation now:
Nintendo was the company I grew up with. First game I ever played: Pokemon Red. Second game I ever played: Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Not to say I haven't tried other companies' games. No, no. I even have a PSX (ancient).
I have tried other systems. I have tried other companies' games. Sure, they have great graphics. Sure they're great shooters.
But what is the company that promises quality? Howabout creativity?
*cough*Nintendo*cough*
Stop bashing it.

...with that said, feel free to argue against my childhood favorite.

Funny, my First Game was Pokemon Silver. My first device was a GBC. Now we've got 3 DS', a Wii, and a GameCube. I own Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Pary DS, Mario Party 8, and for the VC I have SMB3, SMW, and SM64. Even though I've only really been a Nintendo gamer for a little over a year.

I grew up with nintendo... but it's hard to choose my favorite system cause they are all made different. The Wii is more family oriented, the Ps3 is more for hardcore gamers, and the Xbox360....well... I don't know.... just...... I don't know... But I would have to choose the wii, since I've played it for over 2 years and I still love it.

also...where is the gamecube? where is the N64? I can see why no gamecube, but the N64 had the best series of games of all time IMO! O_O

I vote Wii, because you actually get exercise while you're doing it, and because SSBB is on it.

(actually, the only console I have is a GBA-SP; our friends have a Wii, though)

I've played in almost every system you've mentioned (haven't played n64 or psp) And i have to say that the ps3 is the best. If you're looking for something other than shooters go for a wii.... actually i'll go for the wii.
