You could check out the Project Ideas forums if it's ideas you're looking for. Another tip is to download projects from more experienced users and learn from them by seeing how they scripted them.

Work on projects for years like I do. A years work is much better than a couple hours work. Just don't advertise before you start because most people who see it will have quit by the time the game is released. xD
