Is there a way to make variables stay the same? (read description)

Whenever you double click on a shown variable while creating a game, it changes 'form'. The only problem is that whenever I save and close Scratch, the variables return to the first form. So whenever I open my project, the variables are in the first form (and go to the top of the screen), which basically ruins the game.
Is there a way to make them stay in the same form and place?

If the variables are hidden when you save/upload, they reset to "1st form default position". You have to show them all when you save the project, and make a when green flag clicked hide all of the variables you don't need script.
I know, this bug annoys me too. But this is the only way to fix it  sad
