The Dragons RPG is a RPG game I have begun developing. It is in dire need of sprites, side quests, and people who would help program.
SPRITERS: Go here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/razor2/2649752 to get a kit. Please base items off of the templates.
Quest ideas should come in this format:
-Name:
-Goal
-Requirements
-Reward
Now, a quick guide to back story to base the quests off of.
There are 2 tribes, the Vlatherians and the Warfangs, fighting over mysterious magical krystals that have begun to appear across there territory, the Long Plain. Krystals appear in many different ways, falling from the sky, being found in ancient ruins, fished out of lakes, ect. Each krystal gives its owner a new power, and will be guarded by a powerful enemy.
Dragons are creatures that were mutated by krystals embedded inside of them, usually sticking out of there chest near there heart. Sea dragons and Drakonids are other Krystal creatures. Drakonids are wingless, Anklyosourus-like dragons.
Biomes in the game are Swamp,Forest,Plain,Seaside
Leveling is skill based, with skills being:
WEAPON
Sword: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
Axe: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
Polearms + Staffs: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
*Only 1 maxed skill per category on one character
CHARACTER
Endurance(Health,How long they can go without rest): 1,2,3,4*
Speed:(How fast you move, stat challenges):1,2,3,4*
Streanth(Damage dealt, stat challenges): 1,2,3,4*
Magic: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Legendary*
More material will be worked with when I get the demo online.
To do v.1
-Tilesets
-Generic character sprites(Villagers, Guards)
-Sprites for girl and boy main character(can be a generic girl and boy)
-Wolf sprites
-Houses(Wood,Huts,Guard's post)
---ANY PROGRAMING HELP IS APPRECIATED-----

I can help with anything that is needed, programming, quests. Just let me know! I think it would be pretty cool if our invent system could be drag & drop but meh
.
for example:
when gf clicked
set [Dragging v] to 0
forever if <(mouse down?) and (touching [mouse-pointer])>
if <(Dragging) = 0>
set [Dragging v] to 1
go to front
repeat until <not (mouse down?)>
end
go to [mouse-pointer v]
set [Dragging v] to 0
end
end
Hopefully that scripts thing looks correct (its difficult to type scripts in comments xD)
Offline
the dark blue "go to mouse-pointer block is supposed to be in the repeat until brcaket and dragging is a variable

Temple Quest:
A crystal is spotted falling into the Temple of Death, you must make your way through the legions of the dead which live in the temple while finding your way to the centre of the maze that is the temple. Then when you get the crystal at the centre you have three minutes to get back out again before the temple door closes...

stor has made the inventory screen's engine, but if you could make a project of the Drag-n-Drop, we could see which works better in the demo.
@stor, so the temple has a re-animation krystel? How would we program using it? Also, what Biome is it in?

Can I have that in English?

@stor Each krystel(weird spelling FTW) has a power that you get with it, Basically, it's the games magic system. So each krystal is guarded by something that is related to the krystels power. So if its the temple of the dead, is it a re-animation krystal? Biome= terrain.

How about that crystal's power is you can bring back enemies you've killed and they will help you fight.

Krystals are in certain side quests, but most are helping another complete a mundane activity or skirmishes with an enemy. Leveling is more skill based, with skills being:
WEAPON
Sword: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
Axe: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
Polearms + Staffs: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Master*
*Only 1 maxed skill per category on one character
CHARACTER
Endurence(Health,How long they can go without rest): 1,2,3,4*
Speed:(How fast you move, stat challenges):1,2,3,4*
Streanth(Damage dealt, stat challenges): 1,2,3,4*
Magic: Basic,Advanced,Skilled,Legendary*

Cool, but what would be a level cap? 10 or 10,000?
Simple quest
Requirements:Enter a certain Temple.
Story-line: When you leave the temple, you see a nearby wounded person, that has stolen from the Temple. You are faced with a choice, To steal the item, which is prized among the god of which is worshiped in the temple, or to return the item.
Choice 1: if you steal the item, you hear a voice from a rival god shortly after who is happy that you took it, and he leads you to a house that is home to a family of people that worship the god of that temple and he asks you to kill the entire family. if you do, he will reward you.If you do, a hideous, but peaceful (to you, anyway) and he rewards you with a Body piece of armor that when you are on low heath will sap health off of all nearby enemies and give it to you. its slow, but effective.
Choice 2: you return to the temple and the owners of the temple reward you with money, gold whatever you will call it in the game, but when you leave the temple you are greeted disrespectfully greeted by the same creature from choice one, but they attack you after. when you successfully kill them, the person that you gave the stolen item from earlier to and they reward you with an Armour piece called the essence that is just normal, but has HIGH value, after you have killed a certain evil enemy.
This enemy is involved probably in the main quest.
Good idea? Im not really sure.

No gods appearing, because that's overused . But temples are OK, just have worshippers replace the gods. The story is Dragon/War/Krystel centric, so quests should be to.
Stor: Ok.
Spriting is a top priority presently. Sprites needed in first post.
