Since there are so many projects and so many users who want to be curator, I suggest that we have two simultaneously. This would allow more users to have their chance at curator, and also since some curators only select projects under 2 months old, more of the good ones would get on the front page.

I think having multiple curators going at once would be kind of messy TBH

Meh. The scratch team chooses the curators that have good speeches. You can also just apply again if you're not picked.

But that doesn't mean all the curators are good...

To the scratch team they probably are. They picked them.

They could have the most amazing speech then fail miserably as the actual curator.

That is why the ST also takes into consideration the projects and faves of the people who give speeches. Which is why I never had a chance when I posted my speech, because I had very few faves and most of my projects were for helping people on the site. So no verdict could be reached about what I might pick. But still, there's no real telling what they will pick, but the ST tries to tell.

Why the long face?
And @ sonic
I don't have any faves..... maybe that's why I can't be curator.

Yes. No naming names. But I can think of one example....

It probably is, I made a really awesome speech and still didn't get in! And when I say awesome, I mean I actually put effort into it, not that it was better than everyone else's.

It's not that. You can always add them after being accepted.
And you can show them projects you like in the speech.
