Vote for your favourite scratcher! (On the SOTM project please!)

The user has to have posted a project in the month of the contest (e.g If it was SOTM January you can only vote for people who has made a project in January). As of the July Scratcher of the Month, everyone has 2 votes, regardless of their number of other accounts. Thanks to Wes64 for suggesting this idea! As before though, you cannot vote for any other of your accounts or the account you are using. You can't vote for the same user twice as well. After 1 week of voting, you can only vote for someone who has already been voted for. This is to stop the leader board being overcrowded and to have more scratchers with more than 1 vote.

You can't vote for New Scratchers, and New Scratchers can't vote :3 Also, if you want to vote, you must be active on scratch and have been on scratch for at least 2 months. This is to help stop people making random accounts and voting for their main account with it. I have seen this happen, but sometimes it's hard to tell if it's not just somebody's other account. If you are caught voting for yourself, then you will not be able to vote for 3 months and you will not be able to be voted for for a month. If you break the rule again, you will not be able to vote/be voted for permanently.

If the user you are voting for hasn't made a project in the month of the contest, but their test account has, then you're allowed to vote for their main account. For example, someone might want to vote for Astro947 because of his projects on his RMX's account. He hasn't posted anything on his main account, but he can still get votes, as long as he's posted in the month of the contest on another of his accounts. This does not mean you can vote for scratchers who have changed their account so they don't use their old one at all, or if their other account has less than 5 projects, or is a New Scratcher.

If your 'main account' has more than 5 projects and has been on scratch for more than 2 months, you are allowed to vote with a 'new' test account (that's less than 2 months old and has less than 5 projects), as long as it doesn't violate any other rules.

Please do not advertise on your projects saying: 'Please vote for me here (link to project) ,' but you can advertise like 'Scratcher of the Month contest! (link to project) '
If there is a tie an anonymous scratcher (who can't vote) will decide which scratcher should win.

If you haven't been voted for, or didn't win, bad luck and try again in the next one! If you have already won, you can't win again, to give a chance to other scratchers. Feel free to congratulate any winners or runners up on their projects! smile

Changing some rules. You say, that you need to have an account 3 months old with at least 3 projects, so people don't vote for themselves, what if they want to vote for somebody else?

They can't vote for anyone if you haven't been on for 3 months and don't have 3 projects. I meant themselves as another one of their accounts, so people can't just create accounts to vote for another of their accounts, or create lots of accounts to vote for one person. The 3 month and 3 project bit is to show that you're an active scratcher.

I don't know if I can vote for myself but you might wanna see my project. It came in WillPower's top 4 in 2012 (WillPower does reviews). He has thousands of views on his reviews page and about 10 pages of posts. I scored 91/100 and I think the highest this year had 95. Anyway, you might want to see it.

I looked at the first post of this topic and it was a little muddled and messy so I wondered if I should suggest a better start post to you.
I fixed some typos, organized sections, cut out irrelevant info that was already found in another rule, reworded some sentances etc.
If you would like to change the start post to this feel welcome! smile
Also on the start where it says "Vote for your favorite scratcher here",
every month you would have to update the "here" so its the most recent comp

Main Rules
1. The user has to have posted a project in the month of the contest
