I'm currently making the first Tablet OS in the Tablet OS series! It's called ArtLet (Art Tablet), and the theme is art, so it'll basically have way better graphics than my other OS's. If you guys have any ideas for applications, games, websites, etc, I'll be glad to hear. I'll make a forum topic in Show and Tell once the project is uploaded. I'll be updating this post with features I'm adding, and I'll create more posts later on in this topic that will be giving progress reports. So, feel free to suggest ideas!

Report: I have finished the account creation process. So far I have the intro of the project, the selection of creating an account or logging in, and creating an account. Now for logging in and the real OS when you log in or have created an account.

Report: I have made some progress within the OS. I have made a toolbar, a window checker (once project uploaded, it will explain), a start button, a my computer button, and a my documents button. I have also given it some good art. I will try to do this with all my OS's and projects. So right now I will try to add as many features today, and try to make the OS very advanced, then I will make the shut down, restart, and sleep features, and then the log in feature. And maybe, if I feel like it, I will make the code for having the accounts that the user created still be there even after you press the green flag.

Report: For the windows in the OS (boxes that come up when you open something aka My Computer) I am giving it really detailed and good art. By the rate of the past few days, I'll probably be done in several weeks or more (or less).

Report: If I forgot to mention, I am going to give this OS (and hopefully my future OS's) great art. I'll try to excel in art from now on (and of course in the programming too). So far, I've been using images from Google, and drew and colored in accurately based off of the images. I'll give credit to Google when I upload the project.

Report: I have tested out every feature (except the log in) and it is working, so I will add stuff like Internet, more features, applications, shut down type buttons, games, etc. The estimated time left until upload is probably still several weeks (10 maximum).

Report: I finished making the documents and saving system. It took me a while to think out the whole process, but in the end, it was actually a simple way to code it, and it (hopefully) will work (since I debugged it smile ). Still several weeks to go. 10 maximum.

Report: After I finish two games, 2 applications, bugs, shut down/log off buttons, and the log in ability, I will upload the project. Yes, for version 1. I probably won't work on it ever again, but there is a small chance I will.

Report: I'm trying to finish at least 1 game today, and then try to finish it off tomorrow (maybe). It didn't take several weeks after all. As usual, my predictions are incorrect.

Report: I am going to leave out the log in feature, which I will add in the next version (if there is one). I have planned to finish ArtLet OS today. I will make the game, the two applications (plus 1 you can download), and the Internet browser, with a couple of sites. The second game shouldn't take too long, and the two applications shouldn't take too long either, nor the Internet browser.

Report: I have decided to make 5 applications and 3 games. I made two applications that you can download and use, (1 more that you can download left), and 2 applications yet to be made that are already pre-downloaded for you.
