Scratch

The Wiki's news page is really boring. Aside from a Scratch 2.0 update, all it has are curators and design studios. I'm thinking about making my own news channel. It will be updated within 24 hours with short, concise news tidbits which are not huge events but not too small to be considered "gossip" either. Examples are completions/releases of various Scratch mods, or maybe milestones reached in the number of topics in a certain forum. Of course we will include the big news like new mods, but I think the smaller news needs to be easier to see too.

So basically I need help. If you are active on the main site, misc, TBGs, or Wiki you can contribute short "articles" (max 5 sentences) about various events with reasonable importance. In the TBGs, an example would be maybe  new operation:cleanup. On the Wiki, recent important discussions (like the one about the FAQ section and Sentence Case). Just post your stories below and once I have some expect a news channel online in a couple of days!
