Guys - simple solution! I have managed to make a 'online' highscores. It is well working, and does not fail! The website I made (http://scratchscores.tk/) is the site where it all happens. You see, mesh is made to mesh two or more programs on the same computer, but, we rigged up mesh to a server, and that server can go between computers. It's like a wire rigging all the computers up. So, the information goes through the server and to your computer. You can view highscores right from the website, published from your computer!
Looks like an advert ;(
Sorry, I meant one of those scam quizzes that cost you £5 for nothing and you lose ur details to loads of 3rd party scumbags.
when gf clicked repeat until <(timer) > [10]> go to [mouse-pointer v] end think [BazzaSaysLolololololoololololololololololool!] for (3) secs

Create a high score list, and don't clear it each time?? I dunno. You might need mesh, or SCRATCH 2.0 that allows highscore variables and lists. I've never tried a online high-score board

HIgh Score board? Wait until Scratch 2.0. They will have implemented the things necessary for that then.

There's loads of ways to make offline highscores but not online yet...

As long as it's being contributed to, then it shouldn't matter much. But the contributions seem to be moving... quite slowly.

That doesn't contribute, so it's counted as a necropost. Don't, please.[/minimod]
ON the other hand, wait for a few more months. 2.0 is the answer.
Or we could wait for 4.2. xD

Please don't necropost.
The answer to the original question, for anyone interested, is to wait for Scratch 2.0 and use cloud variables.

This topic is kinda resolved already, see HighScores' post on the first page.
