if you decide to make new forums in the future, I actuallly would recommend phpbb3, it looks a whole lot better, and is slightly more secure in my opinion. It is highly more visually appealing than fluxbb/punbb is. It's what I use for the Eternity Inc. Forums.

No, IPs are shared.

An IP is a unique code given to internet clients. Some are owned by spammers. I have the same IP as a spammer, and jontmy too.

There are 2 types of IP address (Internet Protocols)
local address eg. (192.168.2.1)
Addresses eg. (1.124.170.160) <--- my current IP (for now tongue )

IP Adresses are not permanent, you can change your IP multiple ways, one popular way is to use websites like hidemya**.com, This kind of site is a proxy server, a proxy server basically does that, it covers your but tongue Other ways include using the TRACERT command, or PING command through the command prompt (this is comlicated). Your IP address can also be changed by simply resetting your router, IP's are very unreliable, and are often repeated (That is why you can get IP conflicts on networks that use multiple CPU's and other electronics). This is a popular practice for hackers and cheats, (also LINUX users also automatically get IP changes, quite often). << My rant is over smile
