Scratch Wiki editors everywhere want to know: what does the term "Scratch Community" mean to you?
The Scratch wiki article on the Scratch Community seemed (to us) to be seriously lacking in accurate descriptions of the community. Go ahead and read it. Sure it lists some of the sub-groups, but, as a community focused on non-exclusion and support, this just didn't seem to accurately reflect the community.
We'd love your input! What words do you think capture the essence of the Scratch community? What parts of what define this online experience are missing?

Scratch is something different to everyone; but is usually considered a positive thing, rather than negative one, but that doesn't mean we should sugarcoat the Scratch community, just like all communities (both virtual and physical) it has it's ups and downs.
To me, Scratch is not a place to go when I'm bored and not a place to just hang out, it's become a place of inspiration where people similar and different from me can share their thoughts and projects that I can dissect, consider and remix, then give back to the community while learning even more, and gaining even more inspiration while giving some. Inspiration isn't everything to me, but it sure makes the community a cool place to be for me.

Scratch is a place where I can be myself, and make what I want. Steve pretty much stole the words from my mouth, but this is probable one of my favorite sites, as well as favorite hobby.

The scratch community, to me, is a group of amazing reliable people from all sorts of; religions, situations and countries. All the people from the scratch community differ in all sorts of situations, whether it be; gender, race, size, sexuality or beliefs. Thus the Scratch community is an amazing place to be, not only because of the awesome games and art that is produced, but also because of all the kindness that comes from (nearly) all of its users, without the scratch community, the internet (mostly) would be boring!
This is my own personal opinion, and your may be different, but that is what it is all about, personality!

I've added part of what you said into the wiki page.

you may want to include something about how people group together with the same kind of like ocs such as tokis, warrior cats, and sonic characters

If you've got a wiki account, go ahead and add it yourself! Just remember, it can, and probably will, be edited.
