*DO YOU LIKE PIGEONS?
It depends. City pidgeons I find are mean and dirty, but theres some ones in my neighborhood that just fly around and walk.
*DO YOU FEED THEM?
Sometimes. There was a black pidgeon with a broken wing and I fed it some crumbs and seed, and I still see it flying around the park.
*DO YOU AGREE WITH FEEDING THEM?
In more open areas, yes, but in cities, they can cause problems. In cities, they eat trash and their waste becomes toxic, and they get dirty.
*DO YOU KEEP THEM AS PETS?
No.
*HAVE YOU EVER HELD A PIGEON?
No.
*ARE YOU AGAINST SCARING AWAY PIGEONS FROM THE CITY?
The city, yes. Other areas, no.

"Flying rats", interesting. All birds are flying rats to me! DX
My area has far too many parakeets, pigeons, seagulls and literally no other bird! D:the birds have been there longer than us, so really they have more rights to live somewhere than we do!
Not parakeets.
They're not native to the area; they've completely overrun it in about ten years.

i meant pigeons and seagulls. it is bad that the parakeets where introduced there but the parakeets are there now, there's no point in getting rid of them. people should leave nature how it is...

well sorta. doves are smaller and wild (like turtle-doves or rock doves) , where the larger feral or domestic birds, are pigeons. there are some tropical ones like the Victoria crowned pigeon or the new zealand pigeon) so they are the same thing really.

*DO YOU FEED THEM?
No. I never have any food on me. Next time :3
*DO YOU AGREE WITH FEEDING THEM?
Yes, but not near beaches.

No.

No.

I don't live in a city with pigeons. I don't know what they do when they're in the city. There's a flock by the pier though :3

Yeah, I'm gonna leave them be, but not feed them like you do.

No, this thread reminded me of that song. I have nothing against pigeons. (I think they're kinda cute.) Sorry.

He tends to "hang out" with the doves here. I still don't know if pigeons and doves are the same thing.
pigeons and doves are the same family, but doves are more petite. and, believe it or not, not all doves are white.

Most white doves are actually white varieties of pigeons. There's no real difference, it's just different species names.

I've never fed pigeons before but there's tons of them here. And they won't fly away from you.
