I am interested in being a curator. I have been a scratcher for 18 months now. I would like to display unique and/or interesting projects from scratchers that don't get enough credit for their ability. My favorites list is small now, but if I am selected I will expand it.

Being part of the Scratch community isn't about being popular, it's about being friendly towards others and using your imagination wisely to create the best projects you can.
Anyway I would love to become a Scratch curator! It's sounds like a wonderful idea! I would choose projects that are of good quality, have no glitches and are fun to play or watch. I would also choose projects that have been made whole-heartedly and that the user has put a full effort into making.
I definitely agree with this idea! It's a great way to encourage users to look at other people's projects more often instead of mostly expecting others to look at their own. It's also a good way to get users to look at many different types of projects instead of just one in particular. Great choice, Scratch Team!

Well... Since English is not my native language - like a lot of scratchers - and I am just learning it of one year now makes I didn't know the word "Curator' too before I saw this thread...
So maybe find a name that fits the targeted Scratch-public a little more... Like

I"d love to be a curator! I think it would be really cool and fun to see some of my favorite projects on the front page of scratch! I would only choose the projects that are appropriate and I think people would like to see. ^_^

I would like to do it, i really think theres a lot of unnoticed, well thought out, well programed, well... im out of well __'s, projects out there, THAT JUST HAVEN'T BEEN NOTICED because of someone who's more populer has had a project next to it, and the great project, just disappers!

Being a curator seems like a fun job to do, I know many un-noticed projects that are amazing. Often people that have been on the front page once(not including featured), are ending up to be on the front page again. They become popular - so then there is a small chance of other people to be on the front page, or even noticed. Which is why I'd like to look at different projects and choose what I like best. Being a curator will be great!

I would like to be a curator because I like to show good projects that are not viewed as much as they should. I would choose Warriors projects, simulations, and just "stuff".

I would love to be a curator! I would show projects that are really great and need more people to see them! Projects that stand out and I can tell took a lot of work. I would put projects of users that haven't been in the spotlight to give them a taste of the home page! Thanks!

He's right...If the curator picks a violent or inappropriate project, they should be (a) banned or (b) fired from scratch curator.

This is a great Idea! I like to favorite projects about the world, our history, and the scratch community... It actually doesn't matter how much views or love-its a project has. I'd like to be a curator if possible.
