animated costumes

if youve ever played warioware diy youll be familiar with the idea of different costumes which can be animated with different frames. i was thinking that a system like this would help organize your costumes when making a project with animations. for example, instead of 5 different costumes called "walk1, walk2, walk3, etc" youd have one costume called "walk" with 5 different frames together depicting a walking animation

you mean like the 4 "art" types in WWDIY? Yeah, that'd be cool.

Like in Stencyl? Definitely.

Yawn, another boring text signature. I should really make something better.

Re: animated costumes

Its possible to do this already so I don't think it will be added.

Re: animated costumes

Maybe you could try with 5 different sprites?

no, its not
trying to organize and name and put together a hundred costumes is a pain in the butt, if you had a single costume for one animation itd be much easier

Re: animated costumes

You know, I've always wanted this idea. It's sort of like movieclips in flash.
