Source Filmmaker is a thing you make films with, like Minecraft, another thread moved here, because you make stuff in it.

Sorry, had to get that out of the way. 
Anyway, that source filmmaker looks cool. The only things I'm put off by are
a) I'll need to sign up for a steam account and I'm too lazy
b) It would be yet another downloaded thing
c) It would turn film making into the kind of thing you don't need practice to do and more of a "just put together other people's parts and you're done" thing. It's going to abstract away too much, getting dangerously close to the "click here for a movie" thing I don't want to happen.
