I've been wanting to make a banner like in LiquidMetal's signature, and I have made the graphics:

I know how to use the API, but I don't know if I'm doing it right; I'm getting an error. Please post step-by-step instructions on how to make the banner.

You just split the image up in a program such as Paint.NET or Gimp, and then put each of those images in your sig with a link using BBCode.
I did.
(pre-noob apology)
How do I use the API?

For an online/offline indicator, use:

I know how to do that. I want a banner like in LiquidMetal's signature. Here's a link to one of his posts.

Tell me if you want anything adjusted. :3
EDIT: It doesn't like your images.

There's a chance the URLs are too long. Try shortening them with goo.gl or something.

Testing with sci's code, but the 24bit images.
EDIT: Nah, it ain't working. I'll try it with GIFs tomorrow, for now, I need to go to bed.
maybe all the & s are messing it up. After all, the forums automatically replace all &'s with &'s; just check the source of the page
Therefore, you shouldn't need it.

I don't see any &s...

Okay, so the PNGs aren't the problem. Switching back to them.
Above bar is CPUmaster's latest project. That works fine. I tried replacing "Scorpion_Studios" with "Scorpion%5Studios" and still nothing.
I figured out what is causing the problem, it is the "_" in "Scorpion_Studios". Their API has a bug. 0_0

Well, it works with other users, but not Scorpion_Studios... in the bar above, it's cpumaster930's latest project. Maybe it's the underscore in the username?
Try using %5 in place of _

Nada, it ain't workin'.
Since I got the code to work, but there is a bug in the API, there isn't much I can do. I'm requesting this topic to be closed.
