I made a volume controller, like this:
when gf clicked forever set volume to (volume control)%But the volume stayed at 100% even when I moved the slider on the stage monitor.

Um, okay; I take it you pressed Submit too early.
EDIT; And I was right. Is there another script elsewhere that could he interfering (by setting the volume to 100%)?

No, that was the only script. And yes, I got bumped by my sister.

If that's the only script then I have no clue. Have you edited the source code of Scratch at all?
Also, try uploading it; if it does it on the website too I'm stumped, if it doesn't you could try reinstalling Scratch.

Okay, try uploading it then.

Oh, wait. I can't download it because I'm on my iPod, but if the script setting the volume is on the stage, and the one playing the sound is on the sprite (or the other way round), that's why, I think. I'm pretty sure volume is sprite-specific. Are the script for playing the sound and the script for setting the volume on different sprites?
