As many of you may know, Colorado is experiencing the worst fire disaster in its history... right now.
The High Park fire in northeast Colorado has burned 87,250+ acres and is only 55% contained.
Another giant fire is burning near the city of Colorado Springs, in Waldo Canyon. It has burned 5,168 acres so far, and is only 5% contained... 32000+ have been evacuated.
Numerous smaller fires are burning around the state and other southwestern states.
I have taken some pictures of the smoke plumes from the road and a hill behind my house:
No rain in sight... But I'll keep giving updates.

We spent all day today cutting down bushes near our house.

I'm in CA for vacation, and i can't smell any smoke outside.
And, are you close the to where the fires happened.

Yes. My home town is on pre-evacuation warning now.
