I'm confused by what you are calling "Auto-start".  Where is that feature and how do you select it?  Are you talking about making a Windows shortcut that passes the Scratch file to the Scratch image as an argument?

Oh wait...you're probably talking about running it online in the Java player, right?

Re: Auto-Start of Program Doesn't Allow for Input...?

If you press the green flag again after pressing the green flag and putting in input (see note), does it work fine?

NOTE: What I mean by that is doing this sequence:
0. If you have already pressed the green flag, refresh the page.
1. Press the green flag
2. Put in your numbers
3. Press the green flag

If that is so, it may just be that you have to press the green flag twice.

After you input a multiple digit number. the input for that is the Space Bar.
If you hit the green flag again, it will erase the number and start over...

Re: Auto-Start of Program Doesn't Allow for Input...?

I am having trouble when a project is loaded in a new tab that is not opened. Then the java player refuses to receive input. When I refresh, things work fine. Is that related to your problem?
