How to fix a black and white wii

I have not touch my wii system in a long while and I just started working on it to see if it would still work. All I had to do was insert a few plugs, but I came across a problem. The wii still works, but the screen is black ans white. I think it has to do with the color coded cords plug behind the T.V. There are three outlets behind the televion set, I will list them from top to bottom:
                                                   Yellow
                                                       Red
                                                       White
I have the red and white cords and plugged them in, but I do not have a yellow cord, so I plugged in the green one into the yellow outlet and it is black and white. If I plug in the other red or the blue one into the yellow outlet, it will not work. Any advice?

I've had the same problem, so stop using the Gamestop outlet and get an official one.

I didn't even know it was a Gamestop outlet. I am searching my house for one. No luck yet.
