as i said before, add projects without asking people, erm don't know really. i had it off easy without any competition, so i didn't really bother with many advertising schemes. it was luck i came up with the idea first, rather than anything special.
erm just make sure it stays on the first page and keep updating it! don't add too many projects at once also, as you may get fed up of it. just don't do what the others did by taking it too seriously. just check up on it every so often, if you don't get many views one day just leave it.
if you run it like that and relaxed, you'll never see it as a chore and will never get fed up with it.
