EDIT: OK, everyone has been notified. Most of these people have their newest project submitted more then four months ago (except for pokemongardevor), but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. What do we do if nobody responds? (At a brief glance, most of those people look very inactive.)

The shadow looks big and scary!
The one we made last year was more of a square or two, similar to the way my orbs work, which rotated a little bit. Maybe we can use variations on this shadow for something in animation? or some sort of attack? Or maybe not. We will see how it goes.
Anyway, I'll try to work on the force field and health bars tomorrow, and I might try fishing around the member's projects for that shadow sprite. Come to think of it, there should be a link somewhere in these 24 pages... I'll take a look tomorrow morning.

Okay, I may be able to help.. still pending though. I will not have much time but I am 99.9% positive I may be able to contribute. Extremely busy, so I may need some help! I may be able to do it on weekends (when I am not at the beach... :p) But I have 3-4 weeks of practice from 7-4 starting next week. However, I will have downtime whenever I can find some to help! So just let me know what to do, and I will see if I can contribute in some form. I may be a little rusty...last time I did this was probably last summer. I accidently clicked scratch and saw your message so you got lucky! Haha. I haven't been on in months!!

Excuse my absence.. but I am so behind I have absolutely no plausible idea as to what an enemy boss shadow sprite is... I will look into it, however, it is midnight here so I may not get to it tonight, but possibly tomorrow... I am kinda really behind.

The enemy boss sprite is supposed to be an evil shadow... so as long as it's creepy and resembles a shadow it should be good.

Well for now I'm just trying to debug the current draft, but I'm running into a lot of problems. The structure of it is pretty bad, so I'm going to reorganize things... which could take a while.
Besides getting the programming done, there is still quite a bit that we need to do in terms of sound effects and graphics.

The current Butterfly Tree game has music I chose a while ago, but now I don't think it fits the personality of the game. Unless anybody else objects, lets (or a new member of this collab) find new music for the main game, and some darker scarier music for the boss battle, but pay a bit more attention to it. (Granted, I made most of the sound selections for the current game, so most of this is my fault.

As far as graphics go, we need:
• Shadow monster
• Perfect shadow blob-things
It would be nice to have:
• Creepy moving fog/shadows
• Maybe dead/haunted butterflies? Or would that be too creepy?
I will add all of these to the to-do list and clarify which ones we don't necessarily need.

Sound is important, but I don't usually pay attention to it, because the sound configuration is not behaving on my computer.

I just uploaded Butterfly Tree Graphics pack 1.1. It includes a draft of the shadow monster graphic, and new health bars.
I can try to make fog and ghost butterflies. Do we still have the sample butterfly project?

Ah! I knew I was forgetting something! Those graphics are fantastic!!! The health bars are really cool too, I think we should definitely use them.
I believe we have an orb misunderstanding: I thought of the orbs as the shadow monsters bullets, and they would be shot at Leo like the black and red thing in the draft.
Everything else looks great.

Uploaded the latest Butterfly Tree Graphics Pack, version 1.2. This version includes dead butterflies and two more shadow monsters - I found one in the butterfly tree project when I went to get the butterflies - It is the one I remembered. The other one I made by editing that one a little, and we can choose the best of the three. I might be able to scale down either of these two boss sprites to make new orbs.
