Ever wanted to program a game maker?

Hello people and welcome to this forum topic. I am working on a very nice game creation tool which will be alot like GameSalad. But this one will be even easier and I have had some great ideas. I don't need any help but I am after a little bit of pocket money. So I think that I sold this project to somebody else to continue without me would be kinda priceless, maybe £1,000-6,000. But anybody who wants to help me would have to pay £100. Just so that I can trust people with it. I have a nice plan and idea for this project but it would be a little nice to get some help.  smile

The only requirments are to help out (that means I send you the source code and everything):

You pay £100

You don't share anything with the public without my permission

There is no other requirments. You don't even have to be clever or help out but if you pay the price then I will give you the source code. Msg me please and thanks if you want to help.

Re: Ever wanted to program a game maker?

Although you are making something, it seems more like an advertisement to me than anything. The Scratch forums aren't for advertising or selling commercial items/services, which also includes hiring paid services like these.

I'll ask one of our community moderators to check this topic out and decide whether it's suitable for these forums or not.  smile

Re: Ever wanted to program a game maker?

Oliversb, perhaps you could be a little clearer with your post? You state both that you "don't need help" and that "it would be a little nice to get some help". What is the purpose of this thread? Are you looking for people to give you pocket-money, money to help fund the development of this project as a donation or do you just want to talk about your project and what you are doing?

I think what they're saying is that they don't need help, but it would be nice to get some.

Wow.  100 pounds?  Isn't a pound about the equivalent of about 1.6 USD?  That's a lot for a 2D game maker.

So he's saying he has an idea. Can make it himself. If you pay 100 pounds, he'll share what he's got so far. Perhaps you, the OP, could tell us what you've go so far, so we'll actually know what's in the 100 pounds.

Hai.

Re: Ever wanted to program a game maker?

I don't think s/he means it'll cost £100 to buy, I think s/he means if you want to help program it it'll cost £100.

100 pounds is a large amount of money.  The Scratch site is a non-commercial educational site and we don't allow commercial ventures on the site.  I suggest you check out a fund raising site like Kickstarter
