It's like every post on this topic is part of an argument about Nicki Minaj. The topic title isn't 'Most Significant' which is objective, but 'Greatest' which is subjective. So, fun, choose what you want-everyone else what you want.
That's what I was saying, but SOME PEOPLE wouldn't listen.

not really. It's pretty hard to argue with facts, which I am giving you ;_;Fun, you're just being stubborn. We are open to defend our points, and you shouldn't revolt in such a manner if we actually have more stable standpoints in our arguments.
Don't even call me fun. You don't deserve to call me that.
If were open to defend our points, why can't I defend my points? Huh?
In case you didn't know, stop trying to make it sound like we're not arguing.
I've told you guys to stop, and you're not. So I'm asking you to stop again.
And you think I'M the stubborn one.
I can like who I want, and you can like your music and whatever. Okay?
Oh dear, you should know that we're not trying to make you change your opinion, we are just proving that Nicki Minaj is of no musical significance whatsoever and shouldn't really be considered a "great". Your whole stubbornness and uh major portrayel of us as giant bad guys has got me pretty exasperated and whatever so uhm, if you just accept the fact that Nicki Minaj is not a major musical contributor I can accept that you are a fan, and that people have different musical tastes and we can go on with our merry little lives.

Bohemian Rhapsody.
Imagine?
That song makes me want to throw up.
edit: before a big argument starts, It's not that I don't want peace. I'm not willing to give up my faith in order to have it.

I told you to STOP already.

I'm going to report this thread.
Really, everyone should get to have their own opinion on this sort of thing.
It should've been known that this would've caused flamewars right from the beginning.

I'll also vote don't stop believing, and party rock anthem.

I think it'd be better if everybody posted songs they liked, then songs could be eliminated from that huge list. Finally people would vote on THOSE nominees.
That way, people won't be arguing because if a song gets eliminated, nobody'll have anything to argue about.

Forget all this "significant" nonsense. This is about what the Scratch community enjoys. If a member of the Scratch community likes Nicki Minaj, than so be it. This isn't some professional critic's list; this is a list by some average people, so of course it will have some songs that haven't really changed music. Good songs don't have to have impcat; they just have to be GOOD. This isn't a list of the most important songs of all-time. We don't know for sure if Nicki Minaj is going to change anything. I doubt it, but that's really not important. We'd have to exclude all songs from the past few years if that happened (which would be plain biased).

I disagree; all good songs need impcat.

I'm sorry to say this, but in part you're the problem. You're part of the 'SOME PEOPLE' as you put it.
I'm sorry. ;______;
The Scratch community shouldn't be arguing, especially on a topic as trivial as this. It basically amounts to this:
User1: *unpopular opinion*
User2: I disagree!
User3 I disagree as well and here are the reasons why your opinion is a failure!
User1: HOW DARE YOU!
And so on.

Okay, well the Nicki Minaj argument has stopped, but now it's been replaced by another argument. :L

Well there's the source of the problem. When I see "greatest" I think the most influencial and significant. If this is a community vote it should be most "popular" songs of all time.

Yeah, you come state an unpopular opinion. Someone else says 'I don't agree.' Someone else blows it up a notch and you, instead of ignoring it take it up to 11.
I'm basically saying everyone's in the wrong here (except possibly User2).

There's nothing wrong with stating an opinion and defending yourself.

Ah, what the heck. I'll just count these votes anyway.
In fact, I'll just abolish the rule where you can only vote up to 10 songs - you can now vote for as many songs as you like.

All4One counts everything once he sees tons of prog and classic rock show up.
That's biased man.
