I made some animations, but when I import them, they turn transparent??? THEY ARE JUST SIMPLE BLACK AND WHITE, WHY COULD THIS HAPPEN, WHY?????? SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE I TOOK FOREVER ON THE ANIMATIONS!!!

It's because they assume that the colour that appears most is a background, so they make it transparent. It's easy to fix, just fill in the transparent spots with white.

I haven't run into that problem before...usually I have the opposite problem, areas that were transparent come in to Scratch as a solid color of some sort. You say these are GIF format? Maybe you could translate them to PNG format or BMP and see if that solves your problem. Most image editors will let you save the file as a number of different formats...try a different format.
