I've looked at many forum posts and I can't find the solution!
I have had to RE-RE-REMAKE my game because of the key not found error.
I am very frustrated with it and need to know how to recover my files.
I save very frequently (even after testing it and not even changing any scripts) but I never make any backups (STUPID!)
And to clear some things up:
The file is ~8 MB
It was not saved on a USB drive
I wait a few seconds after saving to close Scratch
SO HOW DO I FIX THIS?

the key not found error? I have never heard of that. Try uninstalling Scratch and then re-install it. Also, you should make back-ups.
