Exporting images

Can you specify what format to export images in? Id rather have it export png, or bmp. Is there something in the shift-click-R menus that I could change?

In the scratch program if you hold shift and click the R in the word Scratch (upper left hand corner) you can access the source code stuff, and edit things.

Re: Exporting images

Hmm, I don't think you're able to choose what format you want to export a file as - it's always GIF. Usually if I want to change the file format, I usually just open the image in a program such as Paint, and save it into my desired format (such as PNG). Maybe this will change in Scratch 2.0, I'm not sure.

Sometimes it exports as bitmap (I don't know why)

Re: Exporting images

I think you have to change the image file type after you export it.
