Effort Value Trained.
I'll try to explain it as best I can.

A pokemons stats are determined by two things: IV's (Individual Values) and EV's (Effort Values)

IV's are from 1 to 31 in every stat, and is randomised (So a pokemons IV could be like its genetics, in a manner of speaking)

EV's are obtained from fighting Pokemon. However, there's a certain way to train, which I'll get a link to, which lets you maximise your EV's, so as to get the max stats possible.

It's a lot more complicated than that, thats just the basics.
But it's why most of my pokemon werent taking much damage from any of your attacks and were giving obscene amounts of damage in return.

I have a shiny Graveler, Luxray and Ponyta. Once I migrate All my pokemon off ruby, I will begin my quest for a shiny Groudon and Rayquaza

cool, shiny groudon is gold and shiny rayquaza is black
