A quick little USERScript I wrote will show your post count on the forums at the top.
It is available at http://www.mediafire.com/?zgtx6p2far6y3jk.
This script shows your post count at the top but does NOT show anyone else's.
The post counts were removed (and shown in levels) but you can still view your own, and this one simplifies it for you.
Anyone who had the old one (the one that sends your post count to my database), REMOVE IT NOW!

How hard would it be to show it where the Post count is located? (1000+)

I guess that is nice, now I won't miss my 2,000 post!

Nothing.
At least not that I can see.
It goes back to the forum index, but doesn't really reset anything.

Y'know... With an external database... Anyone with this user script could make their post count public to other people with the script.

Do you think the ST would be ok with that?

I don't think they could stop it.

They could stop it with a simple ban...

Of everyone who installed the userscript?

I can explain that.
So, what it currently does is uses AJAX to get your post count.
However, I was trying to cache the data in a cookie (for about 5 minutes). If you clicked the button, it would update it.
However, I had difficulties with the cookie, so it didn't work out so well.

Well, I don't want to go through all the trouble of programming that and then getting banned for it.
I hope someone from the ST sees this.

Of everyone who installed the userscript?
They could ban me and publicly tell everyone to remove it (I see the worst in every possible situation).
