Crop out everything you don't need in a different editing program so that it doesn't shrink the sheet when you import it. Save it and click on the "import" button in scratch.
Then take each pose from the sheet and make them new costumes. Remember to set the rotation center to the middle of the sprite so that each costume is aligned.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
