TANX Alpha
TANX is a retro styled TDS (Top Down Shooter) that is based on tank warfare. It is currently in alpha stage, which means it does not have all the features the finished product will have. I am working on this project with a close friend of mine, who's username on the Scratch website is Bobith88. I am the founder of this project.
You can view TANX here: http://scratch.mit.edu/galleries/view/49322
Controls
The controls for TANX are fairly simple.
Mouse pointer to aim the tank
'Z' key to accelerate in the direction that you are aiming
Click to use the primary weapon, which is currently a cannon. Cannons can deal a large amount of damage, but have a very slow reload rate.
'X' key to use the secondary weapon, which is a machine gun. Machine guns have low damage but an extremely fast reload rate.
'C' key to plant a land mine. Land mines cannot be reloaded until the one that has already been planted explodes. Mines turn green when they are planted, this means that they are not fully active yet. Mines will turn red shortly after they turn green.
To-Do List
TANX is going to be a complex game when it is finished. Some of the features that will be added before it is done are listed below.
-A store where you can buy several new weapons and upgrades
-Many more maps and terrains
-Colored tanks
-A complex enemy artificial intelligence
-Several game modes such as Campaign, Deathmatch, and No Gravity
-Multiplayer support (1-3 players)
-Sound effects
-Getting out of tanks and fighting the enemies with melee weapons
I might even buy a website and host an online, multiplayer, Adobe Flash version of this.
Please suggest any features you would like to see in this game. Thank you for reading, Snarr.

sounds pretty cool, but are you relatively new? because you won't be able to do a couple of the things, such as a complex AI and how are you going to do zero gravity if it's a top down shooter. Also, is this going to be a scroller?
