So, let's make an awesome OS and an epic rpg! All ideas will be accepted for the rpg, from characters to locations. You will move between 6 time zones: Prehistoric, Egyptian, Medieval, Victorian, Modern & Future,
Maybe Warrior of Time as the title. We need a plot/storyline.
Evan, from the present, discovers a portal in an abandoned house. He travels to the future, where he arrives in a high-tech version of the abandoned house. The portal closes and he needs to find a key. He goes to visit a professor guy, who specializes in the space-time continuum, and talks to him about getting back to his time period. The professor is fascinated by Evan's story, and tells him that in the ______museum, there is a device called the _______ which will allow Evan to reopen the portal, since the portal needs to have a lot of energy to open(the modern portal was powered by discovery, and only the device can give him the energy needed. Also, the time flows in a circle, so Evan needs to travel through the other time periods before he can get home. He goes on a quest to rob the museum. An alarm sounds, and the robot guards are on their way. Terrified, he holds out his hands, and flames flow out. He runs back to the abandoned house and transports to Prehistoric time.
Etc, so he gets a new power each time he transports. He meets people. Prehistoric energy release can be the meteor that crashed into the earth, and it opens the portal. His power then can be like, earth control. Egyptian, it's the power of the gods which opens the portal, and he learns water control, bringing water to the desert. The people there praise him as a god...

Here's the bit company's progress report for this week. I've been watching you guys collaborate for some time now, and you are doing great! You all work together perfectly, and do not get off track. Everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing, and they do so. These are all great qualities of collaborators. You've been chosen nicely to work together. I'm looking forward to this OS, because in the span of a short time, you already have 15 pages! Well done!
Something I'd like to see improved is the first post. While there is a lot of good, and useful information there, it's not very organized, and could use some work. You have different logos, and sometimes I find them hard to read, which is not good for your audience, because if they can't read it, they're going to click the back button on their browser. Info first, then support sections, (the logo options). The first post is always what someone remembers, meaning you have to make an impact, and impression upon the person that reads it, so they remember you.
It looks like you guys need some help on the website. Have you considered letting Rocket Investments help you on that? I'm personally good with web design, and the representative for web design at RI, and there's a lot I could do to help improve it. Again, you have to make an impression. What will people remember you as when they look at your website, or collaboration topic?
Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement, which isn't a bad thing, it's life. There is always something you can improve, whether it's small, or big. Keep up the great work, and I hope to see more of The Bit Company! Keep on Flying!
Score:
Leader: 10/10 - you operate the company fantastically
Website: 6/10 - could use some improvement
Products: cant rate this yet, haven't seen any!
Workers: 7/10 - you work together fantastically!
Thanks for your time!

cool! but hey guess what I found like 5 minutes ago? when I was in year 8 I designed a game called "The Adventures Of Stick: Do The Time Warp!" (the title can be adjusted to be less cheesy) but this was a 56-page plan on paper with characters, power-ups, items, story, level designs and more! I could pretty much just use that to get straight on with it. That's why I came online to tell you all about it. So there are 7 hubs, with 6 of them being time-zones and the 7th one being a generic world where you have the tutorial before the proper story begins and it is also where the bonus levels are held once the game is finished.
So, each time period (excluding generic world) leads to three areas of that time zone. There was a much more light-hearted story to it, and a much looser and more freestyle level design to it so that the player could have freedom exploring the levels. So, the hubs in each time zone were farily big for it to be like an rpg, then the levels themselves are semi-linear, like Spyro 1 where there's a route to follow but with many side-tracks and things to collect.

Yeah. I like that. We can each make a part of the game. And, if we have some animation experts (NOT ME!), we can use my idea as a movie, like pokemon games with a lighter story and the TV episodes.

Right! Now I may not be available for a while as he's my to-do list:
1) Go out for tea tonight (can't hold my family up)
2) Update the scratch cat's hideout (it's seriously out of date)
3) Do some science revision (got an exam on Friday)
4) Make sure my SBCTV studios is busy (they should be writing comedy sketches)
5) Finally translate 56 pages of paper onto MS paint or something then try to explain to you everything and how it all works
So I maybe a while

Why don't The Bit Company and my SBCTV join for once- where you "sell the rights" to the film and my experts of filming will focus make that, because at the moment I'm worried my SBCTV collab looks like it's goanna get abandoned by everyone
then we can focus on the rpg and OS whilst my team makes the film.

all it means is that SBCTV releases it under the name (with "Based on the video game by The Bit Company")

It's not real selling, we just let them use our idea. They have to put a bunch of pictures of us and stuff. Also, can you guys make an ep for each time period, and an ad for the game at beginning. Post the episodes after we release the game, so that people know where and what to look for.
Thanks,

should i make a rule that if they don't post for a week then i will notify them and if they do not respond within 3 days they will be taken off unless they come back and have a reasonable explanation why they were inactive?

cool. Maybe we should join the SBC collab forum thread and/or join as temporary members for this project. But I like this partnership thing with SBC.

yep except they should not need the reasonable explanation, only if we remove them and they wish to be re-added then they need a reason

by the way here's what i'm up to at the moment: The Creator. It's for a competition I'm in. It's my 4th city builder BUT not only does it include the classic features such as pollution, traffic, education, health, crime, fire and tourism factors, but it also includes new buildings and far better graphics. Oh, and the soundtrack is epic.
However, for it to work the spaceship and tornado disasters and to be removed, but it should still be fun when it's finished. I were goanna offer to make this the next big thing for this collab, but then I'd have to forfeit the competition. Still, although I've only just started it I want your opinions as the first impressions can make so much more difference then seeing everything else.
